About Us

Our Mission

Northern Plains Artisan Collective LLC is an Indigenous-founded digital marketplace based in Fargo, North Dakota. We connect verified Native American artisans, craftspeople, and cultural creators across North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Montana directly with collectors and patrons worldwide.

By operating online, we eliminate heavy brick-and-mortar markups and bridge the digital divide for creators across rural tribal reservations.

The 90/10 Artisan-First Model

Economic sovereignty begins with fair compensation. Northern Plains Artisan Collective operates on a permanent flat model: 90% of all item sales proceeds return directly to the artisan who created the work. Our platform retains only 10% to cover operational overhead, insured carrier logistics, and collective outreach.

100% Creator Ownership

All artisans participate as independent third-party creators and retain 100% ownership of their cultural designs, patterns, and intellectual property. Every piece is a unique celebration of living heritage and master craftsmanship.
